Angel Band: An Advent Choral Evensong

An Advent Choral Evensong will be presented on Sunday, December 12, at 3:30 PM. This event will feature our children singers, soloists, instrumentalists, our pastoral staff, and our adult choir. The music we are presenting is bundled in a collection called “Angel Band,” a fusion of music ranging from medieval tunes to contemporary bluegrass, all centered around the music of the shape-note and mountain ballad tradition. Singers and orchestra will combine for a delightful evening, and the congregation will sing and read along with the musicians.
