Faith and Violence Series

Pastor Steven and Dr. Judy Skeen of Belmont University have put together a series to contemplate faith and violence during the month of May on Wednesday nights at 6pm in the chapel. This series seeks to speak to our response to the Covenant School shooting and gun violence in our society.

May 3 – “How Long, O Lord” – Expressing lament and owning the struggle

May 10 – “Revolutionary Love in a Time of Rage” - a podcast by Valerie Kaur followed by discussion

May 17 – “A Witness to Violence” – an interview with the author of He Called Me Sister, Suzanne Craig Robertson (a copy of this book is available in the church library).

May 24 – “Mothers Demand Action” – Linda McFadyen-Ketchum
