Youth
The youth ministry at Immanuel provides students with opportunities to study God's Word, fellowship, sing, and serve together throughout the year.
On Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 AM, Immanuel offers a Sunday School class for students in grades 7-12 in Room 2310. The Youth Sunday School Class is team taught by Craig and Stephanie Self and Adam and Katy King. On Sundays, the youth meet at 5:15 for snack supper and special activities, which last until 7:00 PM.
On Wednesday evenings, students are encouraged to sit together at the Church Family Dinner in Fellowship Hall before gathering in the youth room from 6:15-7:15 PM for youth group time.
Every summer, our students participate in Passport Youth Camp. In past years, students have had the opportunity to participate in mission trips to New York City and Miami. Our youth are also involved in local service projects, and during the past year they have served at Second Harvest Food Bank and Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Fall retreats and ocassional ski trips provide opportunities for students to grow closer to one another and to God.
